The Farmer Support Cluster focuses on developing policies and supporting programs and information sharing that enhances farm profitability and preserves farmland.
Strategic Priorities Addressed:
- Identify and address health code and scale obstacles for small food enterprises (like food trucks or community markets).
- Identify barriers to and develop storage and processing facilities for large quantity of grown and gleaned local food.
- Pursue farmland preservation strategies.
Farmer Support Cluster meetings are currently suspended.
